Get started with the Ensemble E1C DevKit

The Ensemble E1C DevKit is a cost-effective, single-board platform that brings out all signals on the E1C MCU to easily access pins for power and performance profiling, prototyping, and more. The E1C MCU on the board has a Cortex M55 CPU core with Helium-M Vector Extension, operating at 160 MHz, an Ethos-U55 neural network processor core with 128 MACs per cycle, 2MB of SRAM and 1.9MB of NVM, off-chip OSPI flash and PSRAM memory devices (64MB and 32MB respectively), plus a variety of digital and analog interfaces.

DK-E1C Quick Start Guide

(v13) This Quick Start Guide describes how to set up your DevKit and where to download the proper CMSIS Device Family Pack (DFP) and VS Code template so you can do a simple example design and debug it using the on-board Segger J-Link debugger.

Alif Security Toolkit

Quick Start Guide (v3.2) shows how to install the Alif Security Toolkit (SETOOLS) for Ensemble devices and shows some common commands used during application development.

NOTE: Beginning with the V1.107.00 release, the default tools configuration for the target device is the Ensemble E8 device used on the Ensemble E8 DevKit. If you are using any other kit or your own board, you will need to select the correct target device. See Section 4 of the latest Alif Security Toolkit Quick Start Guide for details on different ways to do this.

Alif Security Toolkit: (v1.107.00) for use with the Ensemble devices or evaluation kits. After downloading your Toolkit, be sure to update your board to the same version by running the updateSystemPackage utility.
